CDX Instructional Design Model

CDX has used a fairly traditional approach to instructional design, basing the content development processes and the Know-See-Do-Prove structure on a modified Dick & Carey Model.

Dick and Carey Instructional Model Diagram

The Dick and Carey Design Model describes an iterative process that starts by identifying instructional goals and ends with summative evaluation.

It is particularly suited to descriptive, procedural, non-heuristic, lower level instructional tasks, and it can be applied in a wide range of contexts to suit the small-scale modular tasks involved in technical/industrial training.

The CDX instructional design model also includes some elements from the more holistic approach of the Jerrold Kemp Model, in that the flexible delivery and psychomotor assessment processes built into our design better adapt the learning process to the needs of the learner and the constraints of the learner's environment.
